Lindsey Williams, MA is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Where she earned her Master of Arts, in Media and Communication with a concentration in Strategic Communications. She was also a part of the interdisciplinary Graduate Certificate in Innovation for the Public Good, sponsored by UNC Gilling’s School of Global Public Health. Lindsey is also a 2021 graduate of Ball State University. There she received her Bachelor of Science in Public Relations with a minor in Social Work.
Lindsey began her career working for the Lorain City Schools District, her hometown, as a Communications and Special Project Coordinator following her internship. After that year she set out to receive her master’s degree to strengthen her communication skills. During her time at UNC-Chapel Hill, she served as Graduate Coordinator for the legacy Leadership Development Program, the North Carolina Fellows. Following that experience, she interned at Blue Cross NC as the first Executive Corporate Communications Intern. In this role, she was able to interact with senior leadership as the CEO’s intern and work on a multitude of projects to progress the organization’s mission internally and externally. During her last year at UNC, she served as the first Diversity, Inclusion, and Student Engagement Graduate Assistant for the Department of Computer Science. Among other things this role allowed Lindsey to explore diversity initiatives, supervise 7 students, and advise 4 Identity-Centered Student Organizations. Lindsey is currently a Sr. Marketing Associate at SAS as part of the Marketing Associate Program. Throughout this program, she will rotate across 3 different teams over 2-years within the Marketing division.
